Returning to Tharpaling Monastery on 16th of April, was a nostalgic journey filled with tranquility and spiritual resonance. Meeting with the principal once more felt like reconnecting with an old friend. We delved into the issues the monal’s faced, discussing solutions with a blend of wisdom and practicality.

As we conversed, I noticed a change in the atmosphere, a sense of harmony that seemed to emanate from an unexpected source. The once-aloof dog that had caused quite a stir during my previous visits now appeared remarkably at ease, effortlessly integrating into the Monal’s daily life.

It was a testament to the adaptability of both humans and animals, how understanding and patience could transform challenges into opportunities for growth and coexistence. As I bid farewell to the monastery and its inhabitants, I carried with me a renewed sense of hope and appreciation for the resilience of all beings.

Till than, hope we meet again,

The Monal, Monk and the Dog.
