DAY 1: ARRIVE PARO

Embark on your unforgettable journey with Trogon Travels in Bhutan! Experience a traditional Bhutanese welcome before swiftly transferring to your hotel to unwind. After lunch, explore the National Museum and the majestic Paro Rinpung Dzong. Stroll across Nyamey Zam Bridge and later drive to Thimphu, reflecting on your serene first day in Bhutan.

DAY 2: THIMPHU

It will be another beautiful day to explore the city. After breakfast, we will drive to Thimphu and visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in 1974 to honor King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, the ‘father of modern Bhutan’. Next, we’ll visit Buddha Point, the Zorig Chusum art school, and the Folk Heritage Museum. After lunch, we’ll proceed to Zilukha nunnery, the Motithang Takin Reserve, Changangkha Lhakhang temple, and finally the Traditional Handmade Paper Factory.

DAY 3: THIMPHU

Drive north from Thimphu Valley to hike to Tango Buddhist University, a sacred site renowned for its spiritual teachings and serene surroundings. Enjoy a scenic trek amidst pine forests and prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. Afterward, savor a hearty lunch to recharge. DAY 5: GANGTEY

Afterward, visit the sacred Chimi Lhakhang, known for its unique fertility blessings. Conclude your day with a scenic drive back to Paro, reflecting on the day's cultural and architectural highlights as you journey through Bhutan's stunning landscapes.

DAY 13: PARO

You will start early at Taktsang (Tiger's Lair) Monastery. Legend says Guru Rinpoche meditated here in the 8th century to subdue a local deity. The first temple was built by Sonam Gyeltshen in the 16th century. In 1645, the site was offered to Zhabdrung, who instructed Gyalsey Tenzin Rabgay to build a temple. After a fire in 1998, it was restored by King Jigme Singye Wangchuk. Later, visit the 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang temple.

DAY 14: DEPARTURE

Spiritual tour

Our Bhutan spiritual tour with Trogon Travels was an incredible experience. The accommodations were excellent, providing comfort after each day of exploration. The food was good, offering a taste of local cuisine. The journey was smooth, and the breathtaking sights of Bhutan left us in awe. Special mention to our guide, Yeshey, and driver, Tshering, who were both outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs throughout the trip. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more memorable. Overall, Trogon Travels exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend them for anyone planning a visit to Bhutan.
